This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

This course has actually taught me more than I initially thought it would. At first I thought it would be the basics of the english language, but I was wrong. I have learned so much about my own language that I did not know. I have learned stuff that I was never introduced to while I was going to school as a child. The english language, I have come to realize, is so much more complicated than I thought it was. This course has showed me that I have a lot to learn if I want to be an effective teacher. It has equipped me with the necessary tools to approach different areas of teaching. From discipline in the classroom, to helping students practice pronunciation, I have learned that there are many areas to cover when teaching english as a second language. But I now know that there are plenty of recourses at my disposal and this course being one of them. In regards to what action I will take with the knowledge I have gained, I plan on incorporating it into everything I do in the classroom. The feedback and constructive criticism on every unit truly did help me, as well as the praise I received when I did something well. I still have a long way to go, but I think that this course has made me more inquisitive, it makes me want to know more about teaching, and also how I can make a difference.
