In this course I have learned (and relearned) quite about english grammar that will be invaluable in my teaching. Students will expect me to be able to answer all of their offhand questions about any of the tenses and I feel that because of this class I will be able to give them an organized answer. I have also some techniques for staying organized by using lesson plans and being prepared with all of the materials that I will need for classes. I will definitely be using a course book in addition to my own materials and lesson plans as both organizational tools. Another important thing that I have taken away from this course is how to gauge what students may already know and how to create lessons that match their level. Without this knowledge it may have a struggle for me to decide what material would be appropriate for my students.
