This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

I had an interview with a large company in Stuttgart, germany for a business english position. The interview went well; however, I had to give a trial lesson to one of their interns. Since I have twenty years experience in business, I have a clear understanding of business concepts, but I have learned from this course that I am teaching english, not their own business to them. I was told that I presented, but did not have the teaching skills or knowledge that would be required for the job. The hiring manager said my experience would be very valuable to them, but suggested that I take this course and then get back to him. I have learned many important concepts for teaching ESL students and feel that I can put together relevant lesson plans. I plan to continue this learning process by taking the Business english course as well. I will then contact the company I had the interview with and discuss options for working for them. I would also like to sit in on some of their current classes and observe. I may also want help from ittt with some placement assistance.
