TEFL Videos - Eugenio Piccioli course review
Eugenio is working in Japan as an English teacher and recently completed our 120 hour TEFL course. He enjoyed the course and was able to try the new-learned techniques in his classroom. He also worked closely with his tutor and was able to finish the course within a few weeks.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
Watching these videos was very helpful to see an actual example and execution of a lesson plan. While each video was based on the same basic plan, the teacher's attitude and willingness to demonstrate and explain throughout the lesson made all the difference. In the first video, the teacher did not put much effort in to helping the students feel comfortable, or helping them understand what he was asking for. In the second video, he was much more friendly and welcoming, and make the instructions clear by speaking slower and acting out different words to help them understand more effectively.Unit 17 is based on tbe variety of the tools a teacher can use to enrich and imrove his/her lesson.According to the number of students and their level of course, it is possible to select the most appropriate one not only to have an interesting lesson for the student but also to get them involved in the activities being exposed to a different source taken from simple listening activity to watching a film or even to produce and develop their project such as \"the weather forecast\" by using a camera in class, while performing and practicing new vocabulary previously taught in a crative way.
