The School

The main ethos of the training center in Darwin is to deliver high-quality ELICOS and academic English programs to the ever growing international student population in the city. For over 12 years the center has worked closely with the university to ensure all international students are fully able to pursue their individual study plans.

All teachers and members of the senior management team at the Darwin center have extensive international teaching experience and possess a CELTA or DELTA qualification. Observing the teachers at work in the classroom forms the observation of experienced teachers requirement which is an invaluable part of your overall training experience.

Accommodation

During your course you can take advantage of our recommended student accommodation which offers self-catering facilities and access to a swimming pool in a convenient location. This option is priced at A$262.50 for the 28-days of your stay. Due to the large student and backpacker population in the city you will also find plenty of affordable house-shares and room-lets available on websites such as Gumtree or the facebook group, Darwin Buy Sell Swap Wanted. Airbnb is another great option for short-term stays in the city.
